Beautiful Wave tells the story of a New York teenager, Nicole sent to spend her estranged grandmother in Santa Cruz, California. Nicole embarks on a surf trip like no other with an old 1962 surf van and a surf map, which leads to her own self-discovery and the revelation of a 40-year old family secret.
